May 2017 Release

This article summarizes the major features and enhancements introduced in the May 2017 Release.

Bidder Withdrawal Setting

It is now possible to allow bidders to withdraw bids they placed in previous rounds. Bid withdrawal is off by default but the setting can be toggled on to allow any bidder to withdraw bids. If a temporary correction is required, the setting can be toggled off again once a bidder completes the withdrawal.

See Figure 1 for an example of the bidder withdrawal setting.

Mark an Event as a 'Test Event'

The system now supports the creation of Test events for test and demonstration purposes. The events are clearly tagged to visually differentiate between live and test events. Test events have a minor restriction that only two invitations can be sent; but the system supports purchaser surrogate bidding should you need to test against a large number of active bidders. The event copy logic now supports copying an event as a live or test event. Once you have validated your test event it is simply a quick event copy to setup your live event.

See Figure 2 for an example of the bidder withdrawal setting.

  • Ability to change timezone during an event in the overview screen.
