You can create an automated workflow from a range of predefined Keelvar templates, or using one of your own Sourcing Optimizer events as a template. The configurations, settings, and features of an event template are used to inform the event created when a sourcing request is submitted in Autonomous Sourcing.
Using a Keelvar template
The Keelvar templates have been specifically designed to provide Bot Architects (the user in your organization who creates, edits, and updates automated workflows) with a starting point. They offer a selection of common categories in which organizations can benefit from automation. The templates are completely customizable allowing Bot Architects to refine and update the workflow according to their specific requirements.
Using your own template
Any RFQ event from Sourcing Optimizer can be used as a template for a workflow, by simply checking the Bot Template box on event creation, or adding the Bot Template tag to an existing event. It is important to take the time to refine the event settings and configurations in the event template to best suit your business needs.
As with the Keelvar-curated template, you can import your template from Sourcing Optimizer to Autonomous Sourcing and then refine the intake form and workflow configurations as required. You can edit your Bot template at any time.
If using your own event as a template while learning to navigate Bot configuration, it is best practice to mark the event as Test when creating the event, or when using an existing event.
Template configuration
Basic event settings will be ported over from your Sourcing Optimizer template to your Autonomous Sourcing Bot template. Additional settings will be added and supported in the future.
