Integrations
FreightWaves SONAR integration
We are excited to announce our new integration with FreightWaves SONAR, a leading provider of global supply chain market intelligence. This integration is designed to transform North American road transport procurement by delivering real-time market data directly into our platform. With Keelvar’s FreightWaves SONAR integration, users can now compare their current rates against industry benchmarks to maintain competitiveness, leverage real-time spot and weekly updated contract rates for more efficient sourcing, and identify cost-saving opportunities to enhance negotiations with carriers using accurate, up-to-the-minute data.
General Updates
Reset 2FA via SMS
Users can now reset their MFA settings through SMS. When you choose to reset your 2FA password on the 2FA page, a verification code will be sent to the phone number linked to your account. Each code is valid for ten minutes and can only be used once. A valid code will automatically reset your MFA settings and log you in.Â
Sourcing Optimizer
Lot exclusion from evaluation
We're pleased to announce a new update that improves how excluded lots are handled in your scenario evaluations. With this enhancement, lots that have been explicitly withdrawn will now be excluded from the calculation of lot and volume coverage in scenario reports. This means that when you view the scenario detail, the coverage and volume awarded will only reflect the active, relevant lots, providing a clearer and more accurate picture of your sourcing outcomes. For instance, if you have excluded 10 lots from a group of 100, the scenario will now show results based on the remaining 90, ensuring you have precise insights into your award coverage and volume.
Relaxation rule
A Purchaser can now use a relaxation rule for both the Limit award and Limit winners rules. Sometimes, when creating scenarios, desired outcomes may conflict with existing rules. The relaxation penalty allows Keelvar to ease the rule slightly to achieve the closest possible result that would otherwise be unachievable. The rule can be applied as a full relaxation, partial or none.Â
UI Update
We've enhanced the user interface of the Bidders page in the Bid tab. While this update doesn't change any of the existing features, it makes our app more streamlined and helps you navigate with greater clarity and ease, enhancing the overall user experience.Â
Autonomous Sourcing
Conditional award
You can now utilize Bid data in the conditional step to set up intake conditions, bid count conditions, and bid field conditions. Conditional steps enable you to route requests through various paths in your workflow based on their details. This feature includes a rule builder that doesn't need coding, making it easy to create rules based on form fields and values. When adding a bid count or bid field condition, you can choose to apply it to all items or any items.
Auto-close bidding
An organization can now configure conditional rules that automatically close events early when specific criteria are met. By creating conditions that dynamically close events based on supplier engagement and Bid data, this update enables the automated progression of the Bid step, leading to faster supplier awarding and significantly speeding up the entire sourcing process. Users can create Bid conditions based on quantity and quality, ensuring sufficient coverage and competition to close events early. Activity conditions can also be set to automatically progress events when no Bids have been submitted within a specified time.
