Purchasers can now use a bonus/malus system specificaly for a Dutch Auction, giving certain Bidders advantages or disadvantages. This feature allows Purchasers to set custom start and reserve prices for each Bidder per lot, applying positive or negative handicaps. They can also add comments for context on each handicap. Bid adjustments can only be made for lots not yet accepted when the event is paused.
Configure Bid adjustment online
To configure a Bid adjustment online:
- Navigate to the Bidders tab on the Invite menu:
- Select the Bid adjustment tab
- Click +Add adjustment
- Add the bid adjustment for the lot:
- Select the Lot for which you want to apply the bonus/malus
- In the Bid adjustment text box, reduce the bid by adding a negative number, or increase the bid by adding a positive number
- Optional: Add a Comment
- Click Save and add another to repeat the process, or Save to apply the bid adjustment
You can edit or discard a bid adjustment by selecting the edit or trash can icon in the line of the adjusted lot.
Purchasers may give certain Bidders an advantage or disadvantage by giving a positive or a negative bid adjustment that will reflect on the start price and reserve price of the Bidder.
