Schedule configuration

A Bot Architect can schedule multiple bidding rounds and exclude weekends from the timeline. Conditional logic can be employed to determine whether the bot should advance to the next round based on criteria such as minimum bid count or target prices. Additionally, a bot user is able to manually close the current round at any point during an event.

The specified duration by the Requestor or Approver will override the round 1 schedule in the bidding duration under event information.

Schedule visibility

Bidder view

Bot users can configure the visibility of the schedule on the template in Sourcing Optimizer. For bot generated events, upcoming rounds will show the number of rounds, but the timing info will not be available until the round is active.

Bidders will only see the following:

  • Event name
  • Start time
  • Time of each round
  • Optional: add a round description
