Publish page

After you create and configure all the required elements of your event in the Design menu and Invite menu, it is time to publish your event. Before you can publish your event, you must first ensure that all the necessary elements for the event are configured correctly. Sourcing Optimizer validates your event and provides a summary of any issues.

  1. Validate and Publish: Click Validate Event to analyze your event setup and identify any potential issues with the configuration. After your event is successfully validated, click Publish to publish the event.
  2. Warnings: When Sourcing Optimizer is validating your event, warnings are displayed in red. Review and correct these issues before publishing your event. These issues must be resolved before you can publish your event.
  3. Cautions: When Sourcing Optimizer is validating your event, cautions are displayed in yellow. Review these issues before publishing your event. These issues do not have to be resolved to publish your event.

After you publish the event, bidders can open and view the event. However, bidders cannot enter bids until the first round starts.

If you enabled offline bidding on the Event Settings page, a Download button is available on the page, which you can use to download and review an Excel version of the event’s bid sheet.
