You can manage the type of access each bidder has to an event:
- Default: The bidder can access the event and bid.
- Read-only: The bidder can access the event but cannot bid. The bidder can view the event and feedback updates when they log in. The bidder does not receive further round announcement emails.
- Blocked: The bidder cannot access the event and cannot bid. The bidder cannot view the event or feedback updates. The bidder does not receive further round announcement emails.
You can manage bidder access in two locations: in the Manage bidder access area where you can manage access for individual bidders or bulk-manage access for all bidders; or from the Actions column on the Bidder activity overview table.
Managing bidder access in the Manage bidder access area
- Go to Bid > Bidders.
- Click Manage bidder access.
- In the Manage bidder access area, navigate to the row of the bidder you want to configure access for, and click the Default, Blocked, or Read-only radio button, as required.
Bulk-managing bidder access in the Manage bidder access area
- Go to Bid > Bidders.
- Click Manage bidder access.
- In the Manage bidder access area click the Actions icon above the bidder names.
- Select the access type from the list: Default, Blocked, or Read-only.
The access for all bidders is updated.
Managing bidder access from the Bidder activity overview table
- Go to Bid > Bidders.
- In the Bidder activity overview table, navigate to the row of the bidder you want to configure access for, and in the Actions column, click the Actions icon next to the Preview button.
- Click Block Bidder.
- Select the access type from the Blocking action list: Block from event or Read only access.
- Click Block Bidder.
To unblock a bidder, navigate to the row of the bidder you want to unblock, and in the Actions column, click the Actions icon next to the Preview button, and then click Unblock bidder.
