Keelvar Sourcing Optimizer (SO) includes an algorithmic Bidder Recommendation feature that suggests existing bidders to purchasers based on historical bidding data, helping purchasers expand their sourcing reach for relevant events. The feature is enabled by default for all bidders. To opt out, the bidder navigates to Account settings > Personal Settings, clicks Bidder recommendation is enabled, and confirms No, do not recommend me as a Bidder.
Bidder Recommendation is a powerful tool designed to elevate competition and enhance sourcing results by recommending Bidders for different sourcing events. These recommendations result from applying an algorithm to historical bidding data to pinpoint potential Bidders. For an event, purchasers will receive a single recommendation, aligned with their event's specific list of imported Bidders, if a potentially relevant Bidder can be found to recommend.
Bidder Recommendation is on by default.
To toggle off the setting, do the following:
- Navigate to your Account settings by clicking the email address listed in the top right of the Sourcing Optimizer page.Â
- Select Personal Settings, under Your Account
- Select Bidder recommendation is enabled
- Confirm that you would like to disable the feature by clicking No, do not recommend me as a Bidder.
