Contacting the Event Organizer via the Messages tab

You can communicate with the purchaser in Sourcing Optimizer using the Messages page. The messages page ensures that all communication related to the event remains in one place, easily accessible for both the event organizer and the bidder.

The messaging feature can be customized by the event organizer. Your messaging options may differ from one event to another. Keep in mind that messaging can be enabled one way only -Purchaser > Bidder - or both ways. Additionally, file attachments may or may not be allowed depending on the purchaser's preferences.

The messaging feature is the preferred mode of communication by most purchasers.

Contacting the Event Organizer via email

In the event overview, you may also find the preferred contact details of the purchaser organization. Adding this information is optional, so it is possible that you don't see any contact details for a given event.
