Setting up your supplier organization

Suppliers can set up a single organization in Keelvar, review auto-filled regional and category details, and invite team members. Coworkers maintain private events unless explicitly invited, preventing multiple disjointed supplier accounts.

Why complete the profile

Profile details, including operating regions and supported categories, define organizational capabilities. Keelvar utilizes this information for accurate company representation and purchaser discovery.

A supplier organization represents a company once in Keelvar, encompassing multiple users rather than existing as separate individual accounts. Completing setup takes a few minutes and strengthens company visibility to purchasers over time.

Set up the organization

  1. Create the organization: Enter the organization name. Keelvar checks for name clashes to prevent duplicate profiles from being created under the same name
  2. Review the pre-filled profile: Automated high-level information starts the profile, covering operating regions and supported categories. Review and adjust suggestions prior to final confirmation
  3. Invite coworkers: Send invitations so colleagues join the established organization rather than creating separate profiles

Event privacy within an organization

Coworkers within the same organization do not automatically gain access to each other's events. Visibility remains restricted unless members explicitly invite one another to an event.

Avoid duplicate organizations

Coworkers must join an existing organization via invitation rather than creating a new profile. If duplicate organizations are created under different names, manual consolidation is required: contact Keelvar support to confirm which organization profile to retain.
