There are two ways to submit your bids using Sourcing Optimizer:
- Offline: Download the bid sheet, complete it, and then upload it to Sourcing Optimizer
- Online: Complete the bid sheet online on the Bid Sheet page
The event organizer has the flexibility to activate one of the options, or they may choose to enable both options simultaneously.
If the bid is still open and the round is active, you can modify and resubmit your bid sheet.
Submitting your bids online
You can submit your bids online on the Bid Sheet page. After you enable bidding, you can enter your bids. You may have to scroll to see all the bid data and bidder-input cells. Use the pagination controls at the top-right of the page to see more lots, if required.
The yellow cells are bidder-input cells. If a column is mandatory, the accompanying text above the column displays Mandatory. Ensure that you complete all related mandatory cells for each lot you are bidding on. Your bids are not submitted until you click Submit changes and the processing is successful.
To submit your bids online, complete the following steps:
- In the event, click the Bid Sheet
- In the top-left of the page, click Bid online
- Enter your bids and all required information for every lot you want to bid on
- When you are ready to submit your bid sheet, in the top-right corner, click Submit changes
Navigating the online bid sheet
- Re-order Lots: To re-order lots, Bidders can use the arrows next to a column name to rearrange in ascending or descending order for any column
- Lot Navigation: Using the left and right arrows here, the Bidder can navigate between all lots from an event. As seen here, Keelvar will display up to 20 lots at a time so the Bidder can use these arrows to see all event lots
- Change Column Visibility: To change which columns are visible to Bidders, they can click the small table in the top right corner and use the checkboxes to deselect the columns that they'd like to hide. To make columns visible again, they'll click the table again and select the columns they want to see
- Scroll bars: On the bottom and right-hand side of the Bid Sheet, the Bidder can use the scroll bars to see all Lots and/or columns on the Bid Sheet
