Introduction to the Bid Hub and the Quick Bids Tab

Bid Hub is the central dashboard for managing Keelvar events. It allows users to manage Quick Bids and Tenders, monitor award metrics like business spend and extra margin, and perform critical actions such as rate approvals. This guide outlines the interface layout, navigation controls, and request management features available to participants.

Navigating the Bid Hub

The Bid Hub provides a centralized interface to view, manage, and action all Keelvar invitations and bidding events.

Global Navigation and Header

  • Event Type Toggle (A): Switch between Quick bids (short-cycle events) and Tenders (large, complex events). More on Tenders Tab here: Introduction to the Bid Hub - Tenders
  • Global Header Controls (B):
    • Notifications: Access alerts via the Bell icon
    • Settings: Manage Personal, Organization, Notification, and API Settings
    • Profile: Manage cookie preferences and Log-out
  • Sidebar Navigation (C): Navigate to 
    • Sourcing Optimizer: Access to the legacy Keelvar Event Management view
    • Bid Hub: Navigate to the Quick Bids tab of the Bid Hub or hover over the icon to see sub-pages for accessing the following pages

    • Rate Manager: View and manage rates saved in rate cards

Bidding Performance Metrics

  • Business Awarded (D): Tracks total spend awarded through Autonomous and Dynamic Bidding against your organization's free allotment and/or monthly upgrade spend
  • Extra Margin (E): Displays total spend awarded above defined walkaway prices via Dynamic Bidding
  • Items Summary (F): Provides a high-level view of items awarded, unawarded, or missing bids

Request Management

  • Default Starting Bid Margin (G): Sets a default percentage above the walkaway price for Dynamic Bidding. Adjustments per request are available in the Add Bid sidebar. See more here: Submitting a Bid From the Bid Hub
  • Request List Filters (H): Refines the Request list based on custom criteria
  • Request List Download (I): Exports closed requests to a spreadsheet. Export options include 7 days, 30 days, or All Time
  • Request List Table (J): Lists all Request Line Items. Use the Event Name hyperlink to view individual request details
  • Column Visibility (K): Controls which data fields are displayed in the Request List Table

Bidding Actions

  • Action Column (L): Open Add Bid sidebar and monitor previously submitted bids here. See here for more information: Submitting a Bid From the Bid Hub
    • Review and Approve: Approve pre-populated rates based on existing Rate Cards
    • + Bid: Opens the Add Bid sidebar to manually input and submit pricing

Bidder Support

  • Help and Support (M): Access the Support page, Legal documentation, or the Support AI Agent via the widget
